What is reynolds coliseum?

Reynolds Coliseum is a multi-purpose indoor arena located on the campus of North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Raleigh, North Carolina. The arena is named after William Neal Reynolds, an alumnus and former trustee of the university who made significant contributions to its athletic programs.

Reynolds Coliseum was originally built in 1949 and served as the home venue for the NCSU men's basketball team until 1999. The arena has a seating capacity of approximately 5,500 spectators and has hosted a variety of sporting events, concerts, convocations, and other special events over the years.

In addition to hosting NCSU basketball games, Reynolds Coliseum has also been the site of Olympic volleyball matches, NCAA tournament games, and ACC tournaments. The arena underwent a major renovation in 2016 to modernize its facilities and amenities while preserving its historic character.

Today, Reynolds Coliseum continues to be a prominent venue on the NCSU campus and in the Raleigh community, hosting a wide range of events and activities for students, faculty, and fans of Wolfpack athletics.
